Eric is a West Philadelphia native. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh and later Temple Law School where he was a member/editor of the Temple Law Review. He started his career at the law firm formerly known as Pepper Hamilton (now Troutman Pepper) where he was a Commercial Litigation Associate. After a short time there, Eric joined the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender. While at NJ-OPD, Eric worked as a trial lawyer in the Camden, Gloucester and Salem offices.
While practicing law full time, Eric went back to school at night to earn an MFA in Creative Writing from Rosemont College. Later, he worked at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, counseling law students and alumni. In 2014, Eric graduated from the prestigious National Criminal Defense College at Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia. Over the last 25 years, Eric has worked in family court handling juvenile and restraining order matters. He has been a full time Recovery Court (Drug Court) attorney. He has tried dozens of criminal jury trials for charges ranging from simple drug possession to sexual assault to bank robbery to murder.
When not working, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, riding his Peloton bike, playing chess, reading and writing. Eric is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
